IZKF-Retreat 2018

The first retreat for the Jour fixes “Immunology and Infection” and “Oncology” took place in 2018 for the first time. The doctoral fellows traveled to the Fraunhofer Research Campus in Waischenfeld from 5 to 6 June 2018 to present their research projects in two parallel series of lectures. Within four sessions they presented their field of research to the other participants.

The retreat also offered the opportunity to network and exchange ideas during a joint evening event.

In addition to the 34 doctoral students, a few of the IZKF project leaders participated in the event, which was also accompanied by Prof. Christoph Becker, the spokesman for career development programmes.

The Retreat in 2019 is scheduled for October 01 and 02.
